Betty, Another source I checked ("The Webb Families of DeKalb Co., TN and 23 Related Families" by Thomas G. Webb) indicates that Charles/Charlie/Charley Cantrell (son of Hasel H. Cantrell b.1863 SC and Sarah Malinda Jones b. 1834) died after 1900, maybe in OK, probably unmarried. Did find this which is a good possiblility for your Charlie... 1910 Oklahoma, Logan Co., Guthrie Twp., ED# 132, HH# 9/9 (Series: T624, Roll: 1260, Part: 1, Page: 166B) Cantrell, Charley, hired man, m, w, 33, single, GA SC SC, farm laborer working out (He is listed in the household of James C. Hasel returned to GA to enlist in the Confederate army. After the Civil War Hasel moved back to DeKalb Co., TN. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Betty Summers" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, July 08, 2005 10:17 PM Subject: [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] 1910 Look-up Charles W. Thank you, Linda. I believe the Charley of 1910 is a good possibility. Charles W. was b. July 1874 in TN (according to the 1900 DeKalb Co., TN census), single and living at home. Hasel H. and Sarah Malinda were both b. in SC. According to the 1880 census, all the children (8) were b. in TN. Could you please check out the other info for the 1930 census, Charley, age 56 b. AL. The age is right. Some time ago I checked the SS record. Found a Charles Cantrell (no bd given), dd Jan 1954 & SS# 445-10-8207, issued in OK. Could you please check for 'Tinaley' and 'Den' Cantrell in 1930 in TN? Any suggestions welcome.
