Wish you had mentioned where that 1860 census record was. It took me awhile but I found it. I understand why you asked for Morgan county but in looking at the 1860 census record, this family could be just about anywhere. They may not have been counted in 1850. They may have been "on the move". I haven't found the 1850 yet but there are dozens of possibilities for William Reeves when I'm unable to pin down an approximate area. I don't see any candidates for Mahala in 1850. I see three Goss family members in Morgan. I assume that was her family...? "Barbara A. Sorry I did not give you clear info. I do not have Mahala name before she married. His middle initial is H. .....William H. Reeves ... on the 1870 census record it says Mahala was born in NC also.... hmmm.. ..1860 says VA ... your guess is as good as mine. Thank you for helping me with this!!!!
