On the 1830 census there were 20 listings for a James Cooper. Can you narrow it down to a county? Verna Colorado

**************************************
AOL now offers free email to everyone. Find out more about what's free from AOL at http://www.aol.com.
Hello List I sure would appreciate a look up on the following. Is there a James Cooper or J. Cooper listed in the 1830 TN census? Thanks Deborah Parks

I have just subscribed to this list, and am now seeking help on finding the parents of my 4G-grandfather, AKA one of my most major brick walls. I am a List Admin myself, and I know many Census Lookup lists require submissions in a certain format, so if this is one of them I hope the Admin or someone else will let me know and I will resubmit this on request. Here is the individual I am still searching for. . . . after fifteen years: NAME: John Bradford BIRTH: 25 Jul 1798 in Tennessee (place found on most subsequent Census records, though not all, there is a remote chance the place could be wrong) MARRIED: (in Indiana) Sarah Blades in January 1817 I know this is not much to go on, but it is all I have. I subscribe to Ancestry but cannot locate him in the 1810 Census for Tennessee at all, so if anyone here has any "connections" that I do not have I would appreciate any help at all. I know there was a relatively good sized group of Bradfords in Tennessee during this time period shortly after statehood, and I also know a group of them migrated to Franklin Co., Indiana around 1805 when this John Bradford would have been about 7 years of age, so I am confident (but not certain) my meager "vital statistics" above are correct. For this reason, he may not be in the 1810 Census in Tennessee, but this is a detail I have not been able to document either way. I do know he is in the 1820 Census in Indiana after marrying Sarah there. I would really like to find his parents (and maybe siblings?) but I thank you in advance for any fragment of information you can offer. David E.
