John Redford changed his name to Radford after his father diowned him for marrying Deborah (Last name unknown - Eastern Band Cherokee name unknown). John Redford/Radford was born ca 1745-1751 (Henrico County, Virginia?) John Redford/Radford died 1790 in Tennessee and is buried on the banks of the Duck River (don't know where or when). He was the son of Joe Siah Fitzgerald and Mary O'Connor Fitzgerald. His sister, Ollie, was in the 1930 census in Davidson and his mother, Mary, was living with her. I suspect he may be living with Joe Siah. His wife is Stephanie, but I don't think they married until the late thirties. His children are Maureen and Ronald. His brothers are Joe and Raymond, and his sisters are Ollie and Sister Margaret Mary(Annie Fitzgerald)of the Mercy Order. I think she was in the convent at that time.
