    1. Re: [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] John Redford or Radford - Unknown County
    2. Dorothy Crawford
    3. There is no 1790 census for TN. Available TN census. Federal census records for Tennessee are lost for 1790, 1800, and 1890. Only U. S. censuses for Grainger and Rutherford counties for 1810 are extant. Only twenty-six counties have federal census records for 1820. These middle and west Tennessee counties are Bedford, Davidson, Dickson, Franklin, Giles, Hardin, Hickman, Humphreys, Jackson, Lawrence, Lincoln, Maury, Montgomery, Overton, Perry, Robertson, Rutherford, Shelby, Smith, Stewart, Sumner, Warren, Wayne, White, Williamson, and Wilson. Except for Grainger, no east Tennessee county censuses are available until 1830. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chazz" <ceradfordii@comcast.net> To: <TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, 09 February, 2004 10:48 AM Subject: Re: [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] John Redford or Radford - Unknown County | I would like to know if there is any record of him in the 1790 census or | any tax, church or landholders census that might exist. John Redford changed his name to Radford after his father diowned him for marrying Deborah (Last name unknown - Eastern Band Cherokee name unknown). John Redford/Radford was born ca 1745-1751 (Henrico County, Virginia?) John Redford/Radford died 1790 in Tennessee and is buried on the banks of the Duck River (don't know where or when). I hope this helps. Thank you in advance for any help you can give. Chazz

    1. Re: [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] 1930 Davidson Fitzgerald, John Richard
    2. He was the son of Joe Siah Fitzgerald and Mary O'Connor Fitzgerald. His sister, Ollie, was in the 1930 census in Davidson and his mother, Mary, was living with her. I suspect he may be living with Joe Siah. His wife is Stephanie, but I don't think they married until the late thirties. His children are Maureen and Ronald. His brothers are Joe and Raymond, and his sisters are Ollie and Sister Margaret Mary(Annie Fitzgerald)of the Mercy Order. I think she was in the convent at that time. I think his children were born in Illinois, but I don't know when he went from Nashville to Chicago. Thanks for all your help.
