The family you describe is in Blount county in 1880. In 1870 in Blount county, it appears that this same George is living with his mother and siblings. So maybe those children aren't as old as indicated in 1880 - although I think they are based on the ages of the other children. Or maybe William, Nancy and James are Nancy's children by a previous marriage.....? If so I don't see any obvious matches in Blount. > > From: "Norman Ford" <[email protected]> > Date: 2005/06/30 Thu AM 10:40:40 CDT > To: [email protected] > Subject: [TN-CENSUS-LOOKUP] Unknown/1870/Henderson > > Need a lookup please for George W. Might want to recheck your info on this one. I don't see these folks anywhere. There is a Yancy Perry born abt 1862 in Wilson County in 1870. Mother is Polly. In 1880 Polly Ann Perry has a son Y age 17 and her mother Peggie Porter age 69. They are still in Wilson county in 1880. On the 1891 male voters roll there is a Yancy Perry living in neighboring Rutherford county. In 1900 I only see one Perry in Wilson and he is not Yancy. In Rutherford county in 1900 is a record I can not read on either HeritageQuest or ancestry.com. Here is the best I can do: 1900 Rutherford Co, TN, 2nd, 5th & 6th ward Murfreesboro, page 207 James ? Perry thirty something, occ=wholesale beer Ela/Eva? T? (wife) thirty something, married 12? yrs, 2 kids, 2 living Barthlomew (son) age? Fannie? M? (dau) age? Ellen or Elenor (relationship unreadible) 18? I'm not sure it's them. But if it is then I think Louella(Lula in 1910) is married to John Huffman in 1910. Fannie Perry age 18 is listed as a dau-in-law but she is single. I think the censustaker meant to write step-daughter. I may be way off base here but that's all I see. Billy, Through my temporary membership at Amcestry.com I found the 1910 record and the sister's name is Matilda. Also I found the family in 1850. Apparently Alfred was born in 1849. I can send you either the family details or try to email them to you from Ancestry they will send the image. Let me know which you want. I will send both through Ancestry if you would like. Marilyn

Billy, I did find Alfred in the 1910 Census Carter Co., 2nd District. He is with sister, but her name is virtually unreadable; it looks more like Malitice (could be the hand writing) . Which is probably why it did not come up when searched under Matilda I only have a very basic, old computer so I can only send you the information for locating this record. It is: 1910 Tennessee Carter County Series T624 Roll 1492 Page 25 Lines 94 & 95 The only information I can give you is he was 60, widowed, born in TN, parents born in TN. The only other thing is when I entered Alfred Pierce; I didn't get any thing showing in TN before 1900. I hope this helps and I will try another service to see if they have any information. I am on vacation this week and working on genealogy is all I plan to do, so it I can help, just let me know. Marilyn
