Sorry but I got my birth dates mixed up. Need a lookup for William P. Henderson b.1867 TN. He was the son of George and Nancy Pate Henderson. His son William Pate Jr was b. 1897 TN. William Sr died in Blount Co in 1927 and his son William Jr gave the information on his death certificate. They were both living in Blount Co in 1927 and I don't beleive had ever left there. I don't see a William P. Sr. in 1900 and I'm confused. I thought William P. Jr. was the son of George W. Henderson and Nancy J. Pate. There are multiple candidates for the younger William but none in Blount. I think Nancy's maiden name was Pate so you probably need to look for her under another name. I found what appears to be her in Sevier county in 1850 and 1860 living with her parents. There were three Nancy Pates in Sevier in that time period. I found the marriages for two of them but neither appears to be yours. There is no record that I can find(including the book Early East Tennessee Marriages) for Nancy's marriage(s) including the one to George Henderson. I can find no family in 1870 in Blount, Sevier or Monroe county which contains Nancy and the listed children.
