Hi. Hoping someone can help with either 1900 or earlier census. Looking for Leah Reif. Born 7-11-1869 in Tennessee, no city or county given anywhere that I could find. Died 1-11-1920 in St. Louis, MO Father - James? Mother unknown Husband John William Trimble (born Paducah, KY) St. Louis records show a child being born (Winnie) in 1901, so she was in St. Louis by then. No idea when she got married or where. Other children born, all in St. Louis. Would like to know if anyone could help me pin down a city where she was born and/or her mother's name and if her father's name is James. Also have a name - Matilda Unrath, which could be a sister or relative or ?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Patti Trimble Thomas
Thanks bill, clara

Need a lookup please for George W. Henderson age 60 b.TN and wife Nancy J. age 53 b. TN. They may be living with William P. Henderson or other children. Thanks in advance for any help. Shirley
I was never able to find them before but I tried again and here is something. I'm not sure if it's them or not. There are certainly several things in the record that don't match up correctly. This record is hard to read and the index does not given first names for this Henderson indicating that they couldn't read the name. 1900 Monroe Co, TN, Dist 12, page 190, ED 116, sht 6A (all birthplaces Tenn) ? Wish you had mentioned where that 1860 census record was. It took me awhile but I found it. I understand why you asked for Morgan county but in looking at the 1860 census record, this family could be just about anywhere. They may not have been counted in 1850. They may have been "on the move". I haven't found the 1850 yet but there are dozens of possibilities for William Reeves when I'm unable to pin down an approximate area. I don't see any candidates for Mahala in 1850. I see three Goss family members in Morgan. I assume that was her family...? "Barbara A. In 1880 there is a William Hall in Morgan co, wife Eliza, children Columbus, Mary A. Rhoda F., Pleasant D. and Charles B. This Charles was born about 1878. Your Charles shows a birthyear of 1871 in the 1920 census but shows 1881 in the 1930 census. My question would be how sure are you of Charles birthdate? In 1900, William Hall and Eliza and some of the kids including Charles have moved to Roane Co. Columbus remains in Morgan Co and Pleasant has married and moved to Knox Co. In 1910, Pleasant is living just a few households away from Kate's parents. And in 1910, Charles is in Roane Co and is married to a Nettie with children Roxey 5, Eliza 4, Ted C. 2 and Raymon 8 mos. What are the chances that both Charles and Kate were previously married? The 1920 and 1930 records for them do not indicate whether their's is a first or second marriage. If Ted C. or Raymon had a middle name of Clarence then I'd be more certain. And do you have any way of finding out what Charles's middle name was? Do any of these names "ring a bell"? I would like a look-up for 1850-Morgan County William Reeves 22 born in NC Mahala Wife 20 Born in VA Mary ( 10 in 1860 census) Race -white Thanks Barbara Ray
I see only one possibility for Charles and you're probably not going to like it.
