Would someone please lookup Caroline Ellen Brinkley in the 1900 census of Hamilton County, Tn. She was born in 1850 in Henry County, Ga, White, and was married to Walker Sidney Barnes of Coweta Co, Ga. He died in 1884 in Coweta Co, Ga. She died in Hamilton County Tn 3-2-1930. That Thomas Walker in the 1930 census record was a retail grocer. Cas Walker was a famous/infamous character in Knoxville for many years. He ran a large chain of grocery stores named after him of course and dabbled in politics and just about everything else. Your cousins must not know much about Knoxville. Good question !! I wish I knew. I applied for their son's SS registration, and that is how I found their names. He (Thomas Raymond ADAMS) was born (according to his application dated April of 1937) in Unionville, TN on Sept. 28, 1902. He died in Nashville, and was living in Nashville at the time of his application. Have you ever looked at her death certificate to see if she has another given name other than Isabell? I can't find her prior to 1910 when she has been married to David McDougal for 5 yrs. They are in Lincoln County, TN. Apparently they had no children. David McDougal is in Madison County AL in 1900 with his first wife Mary A. and seven children. I find few David(Dave) Henderson's in Tennessee or Alabama and none with a wife Eddie/Edy/Eda/etc . I found one Edy Henderson married to a Nathan Henderson. Also there is a S. A. Henderson in Lincoln county in 1880 who is listed as Dave Henderson in 1900. His wife is Margaret. In 1880 they have a daughter Varena born abt 1872. In 1900 they have a daughter Bela born abt 1883. They also have a son John Milton Henderson born abt 1879.
