    3. Thanks for the response. Her Certificate of Death and 1910, 1920 and 1930 census records say Maudie but she is giving me fits so I guess I shouldn't rule out Amanda or Mandie. I had also been under the impresssion that Fred Davis was Minnie's father but couldn't find them in 1900. Then I was recently told that Minnie's father might be named White. I'm not sure of Maudie's maiden name and she was apparently married at least three time so she's pretty hard to pin down. This is making my brain hurt! 2. Deena, I don't see them as White's. As I recall Maudie was the wife of Fred Davis. I think I remember finding a family tree that showed her name as Amanda(Mandie). Also I think I found them after 1900 and the record was unclear to me whether her name was Maudie or Mandie. Are you certain that Maudie is correct? 2. This may be them in 1860: 1860 Benton Co, TN, dist 5, page 329 William Warnick 32 TN Maryann 31 NC Margarett 9 TN Malinda 7 TN Mary 2 TN And then there's this one in 1870: 1870 Benton Co, TN, dist 7 W. R. Warnick 26 TN farmer Mary A. 28 TN They are a couple of houses away from Hiram & Charity Warnick I think this a completely messed up census record. It appears that David Warnick had three sons - Hiram, William & John. Only William & Hiram would have been old enough to have a son age 26 in 1870. It appears from the census records that Hiram had only one child -a daughter. And William wasn't married until 1850. My guess is that the above record is your William & Mary Ann with wrong ages and children missing. I see the family in 1880 listed as Warine in Benton Co. Otherwise, I don't see the family you described in 1870. Mike and Kathy Dobra wrote: > I'm trying to find any information on William WARNICK b abt 1828 m Mary Ann Presson. 2. Deena Beckman
    3. I am looking for a Maud/Maudie White in 1900 in Scott Co. or possibly Campbell Co. I am not sure if she would have been currently married in 1900 or not. Her year of birth could be anywhere from 1871 - 1885 depending upon my source. (I think she found the Fountain of Youth as she was actually a year younger in 1920 than she was in 1910!). However, she should have a daughter named Minnie b. abt 1898. Many thanks as always.... __________________________________ Yahoo! Mail - PC Magazine Editors' Choice 2005 http://mail.yahoo.com

    3. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Sanders, 1871 Date: Sun, 18 Sep 2005 14:47:39 -0400 From: Doris <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Greetings, I would appreciate help in locating my 2nd grgrdfather, Elijah Edward Sanders. The 1900 Texas Census indicates he was born in Tenn. I have his birthdate as 19 Nov. 1868 tho' another source say 1871. No idea as to parents, siblings or area of birth/living. He marries in Fannin Co., Texas in 1889. Said to have had siblings. Help and/or suggestions welcome. My regards, Doris Kirschke Brown . . . . .a Texan in Florida [email protected]

    2. I forgot to add, Eli was married to Sally/Sarah Burton Sharp. I'm wondering if Eli is dead by this time and where she might be living. Jenn

    3. I am looking for a Walker Dunn in either 1920 or 1930. I am not sure of his year of birth but would estimate around 1870. He should be married to a Maude/Maudie (by 1930 at any rate) and may well have a step-son named Oscar (b abt 1909) in the household. To the best of my knowledge he would be found in Knox Co. or possibly Scott Co. Many thanks in advance! __________________________________ Yahoo!
