I want to say THANKS TO , ROXANNE,LINDA, for their help in David Dye and his families. Some time after 1881 to 1890 he married viannah farr goss. I havent found them on a census together. Did yall not find him in Rhea in 1900?. He should be with Vina Dyer as she was listed when she died in 1914. In 1910 i think she was listed with John Goss her son in Rhea Co ,Tn.and I think it said she had her own money. Sure that was from the sell of her dads land she got when he died. June of 1890 in Cumberland County, Tn. Crossville. Farr .... She was born in Cumberland County, Tn and died in Rhea. Strange she was listed as a DYER NOT A DYE. Thanks again, Linda

The person who told me this did not know his first name. She just said that it was her understanding that Maudie's daughter was from her marriage to a man named White. Minnie appears as a Davis in the 1910 census but a lot of my information about Maudie has been conflicting so I'm just trying to sift through it all. The census images do not denote specific townships, cities or post offices. I did not check each page individually, but a sampling of the 22 pages in this district never mention anything other than "Civil District 2". Did find that the town of Clinton is located in the 7th District. Maybe you could post an inquiry on the Anderson Co. TN board or mailing list and someone from the area might be able to answer your question.
