What happens if you need to do this after the current support period runs out and there is no longer "official" product support? If no-one volunteers (or for pay) to assist with database "fixing" in the future, then maybe your backups can be reverted to, with some loss of data from the time of the last backup. At any rate, I think that evaluating other software, testing data imports, and coming up with an exit strategy is a good idea. Tom M.
