Hello all! I've been using TMG since version 5 I think and have taken advantage of Flags, Ship people, roles and extensive customization of sentences for reports/narratives. Like others on this list, I have not abandoned TMG... but am practical in the knowledge that as operating systems change, someday TMG will not run on my PCs... so I need to be aware of other programs that are out there. That's something I haven't done since starting to use TMG back in the 90s! My practical self also says that it will take work (read editing) and alot of data handling choices to re-adapt my research to another program. Combined with the fact that I'm not retirement age for awhile... this all translates into "this will be a slow process". Combine this with the fact that I have new data to enter... I will have to make choices. I look forward to reading comments and ideas on this list... Julie
