When I attempt to right click on a Tag in the Person view, a Reminder popup appears. Clicking on the close symbol returns to the Person view but the program freezes and only using the Task Manager can I leave TMG. I have run the File Maintenance tools and unchecked the Reminder option in Preferences, but the same action continues. Any suggestions? Thank you.
I have endured these occasional freezes for years. I recently stumbled upon a work around that restored control to me without using Task Manager. I haven’t reproduced this since but I think I opened the TMG calendar. I was looking to see if any menu options would work. When I closed the calendar, I had control again. Bear this in mind the next time you encounter a freeze. Typically this is caused by a subwindow which requires a response, but which is not visible. Under the TMG "Window" menu item, click on "Center the current window" menu choice. This will commonly bring that subwindow into view and allow responding so that TMG can continue. Hope this helps, Michael
Michael, Thank you for the prompt reply. I tried your suggestion and I like it, but it doesn't solve the problem. Now I've discovered after centering the views, the program continues to freeze. So, maybe it is more than the Reminder window.
