    3. I have tried to use John's TMG Utility to set the Start Year and End Year for some of my places. The TMGU Log reports success but nothing changes within TMG. For example, I used: If State equal to "Alberta" Change Start Year set to "1905" I am using TMGU Version 7.3 Build 06 and TMG 9.05 What am I doing wrong? Thanks. Mike More [email protected]

    3. Mike, Is it possible you left the default on of "Log Only" which shows what TMGU will do, but doesn't do it. Michael

    3. Mike, Does the path listed in the log file match the path to the project you are using in TMG? John

    3. Yes, it matches, John. TMGU works well to change Citation Parts. I just did a test and changed a Citation Part; that worked and without closing TMGU or changing any other parameters, re-tried the Change Place Parts and still it did not work. Thanks. 3. Mike, OK, I looked into the code, and I see where it handles the years as part of the rules, but it doesn't update the start year or end year in the database. Sorry about that! I'll fix it in the next update, but I don't know when that will be released. John

    3. Thanks, John. At least I know that it was not me doing something wrong. It can wait; it's not like I don't have anything else to do and it's not really a big issue. Thanks.
