    1. [TMG] Question regarding inputting sources (Jean Suddarth)
    2. Jean Suddarth
    3. John- My TMG version is 8.08.It didn't always do this but has been for some time off and on. I have taken the steps you mentioned and it's okay for a while but invariably happens again. In my particular case, it's when I'm entering the source and when it freezes and I go back in, it seems to be converting to Witness which shows up as the first thing in Name/Place. Hope that makes sense. I have not encountered the problem you described, so I don't have any specific advice for you. I find that using the File > Maintenance > Optimize command solves problems that are caused by bad index entries, and that might apply here. Using VFI is a good idea, too. If you have done both of those, then I am not sure what else to suggest. Note that File > Maintenance > Optimize is more thorough at rebuilding the indexes than File > Maintenance > Reindex. Use Optimize. John
