Whilst RootsWeb was off line I received an invite to update my TMG 9.04 UK edition. Is this legit or a scam? I thought the company had given up on supporting the product and there would be no more updates? Don Sutherland

Don, There was an update to TMG 9.04, that is to 9.05, just before Wholly Genes ended support of TMG several years ago. I can't imagine who could have legitimately send you a notice about that recently. If you do want to update, you can download the installer for TMG 9.05 UK from the Wholly Genes website, at: http://www.whollygenes.com/files/tmg9uksetup.exe Terry Reigel

Don, I don't know who sent you the "invitation" but the only person I know who has licenses to sell for the final Version 9 is Harry Goegebeur. See the WhollyGenes Forum post here: http://www.whollygenes.com/forums201/index.php?/topic/15915-tmg9-final-installers-v905/ If you have a version that begins with "9." then you do not need a new license. However, you can still upgrade your 9.04 to 9.05 simply by downloading and running the installer program for 9.05. I would recommend doing that. The links to both the US and UK installer programs are in the Forum post mentioned above.
