I goofed. I created a tag city directory, but did not enter any definition. Then I found that there was already a tag (city (county) directory in the master tag list. So I went back to delete the tag I created but it deleted both. Is there a way to restore the tag created in TMG. I am using V9.05 on a windows 7 platform. Thanks for your help! If you created a Custom Tag, it had a definition although it may be that the Tag Definition screen had data in it that was not what you wanted. The only way to recover a deleted Tag Definition is to Restore the backup that you made prior to deleting the Tag Definition. On the other hand, if you deleted the Tag then the only thing you have lost is the Tag Definition itself as TMG will not alllow a Tag that is in use to be deleted. So, you just need to re-create the Tag Definition/ Lee
Is it possible for you to send me a screenshot of the definition for the "City (county) directory" tag so I can recreate it. I did a lot of edits today that I don't want to loose if I restore the previous backup. Are you sure you mean you created a custom tag and not a custom source? There is a standard "City (county) directory" Source Type, which may be what you mean. You don't need anyone to send it to you -- just create a new empty Project and it will be there. You can then copy each element of it into your working Project. Terry Reigel

That worked, actually after I copied from another project and started typing "City " everything came back.
