    1. [TMG] Compare two datasets in same project

    3. I was certain that this had been covered but for the life of me I can't find it. I have tried help and keep going round in circles. Simply I have my original database of about 35,000 in TMG for the Halstead one name study so there are lots of people with the same names and dates. This dataset is predominately UK based. I have imported into a separate dataset into the same project a separate list of about 3,000 people which had been created elsewhere of the those related to the early Halsted's in the USA from about 1630. Now there most be some that exist in both but how to find them. Any ideas welcome. Tools // Check for Duplicate People Set the various configuration parameters as desired. But the important setting is in the "Filters" settings. Be sure to tic the "Everyone in the project" so that the tests will compare people in different data sets. Look for the pairs where the person ID numbers in front of the colon (i.e. the dataset numbers) differ. Hope this gives you ideas, Michael
