I would appreciate guidance on installing the PDF printer on my new Windows 10 computer. I have TMG 9.05 installed properly (I think -- I was logged in as Admin when I installed it) but I don't know how to tweak it for PDF files. Joan Lince

Strangely, the Quicken PDF printer driver hasn't caused any problems to my knowledge, and it too is contracted from Amyuni [Amyuni Document Converter 500, where TMG is 400]. Most (if not all) versions of Win10 have their own PDF "printer". It may not be activated initially -- if it isn't, you'd use control panel (right-click Windows icon, Run "Control", Programs, Turn Windows Features On or Off, [X] Microsoft Print to PDF). Using the "Print to PDF" driver requires selecting it as the printer in TMG -- do not select report destination option PDF. For text reports, my best results come from sending to a word processor (Office Word -- recent edition; Office added the ability to /export/ [not print] to PDF format, which bypasses even the "Print to PDF" driver). VCF it more problematic. Unfortunately, the largest page size I can select is Tabloid... No option for custom page sizes. And I had to set the "Print to PDF" as Windows default, otherwise VCF page setup was pulling options from my HP inkjet (normal default) -- and that formatted the pages with its largest (legal) even if I then set printer preferences for tabloid (result: only top/left side of tabloid page had data; setting "Print to PDF" as default, and then picking tabloid is Page Setup made full use of the tabloid size). As mentioned, I've not succeeded wit the Amyuni/WG PDF driver in decades (It may even be that it hasn't worked since Win98SE for me). If it means anything, I also have a licensed copy of Corel PDF Fusion -- and ITS PDF printer doesn't seem to be saving PDF files anywhere (but doesn't error out as the Amyuni printer does). The PDF Fusion /editing/ module works (allowing reordering pages in and between multiple PDF files).
