Where I know there was a prior marriage but don't know the name, I've sometimes entered a Marriage tag and edited the Sentence to say "unknown man" or the like. You could make it an "unknown partner" if you wanted. When I know the name of the spouse but don't want his or her name to appear in my website because they are still living, I've changed the spouse to a witness, made the reference conditional, and changed the Sentence to say "to a person who is still living." This does not produce a good result in a Journal since the name and the phrase would appear, but it would alert me to fix it should I output that person in a Journal. Terry
