And the usage of New Style is almost exclusively for Gregorian dates. One thing to note, is that the start of year should NEVER be an issue with Gregorian dates, as the Gregorian calendar clearly established January 1st as the start of the year, so double year dating doesn't need to be used with any Gregorian date, only Julian dates. -- Richard Damon
