    3. Thanks for the idea, Virginia. I did shut down my anti-virus & disconnected from everything. Same problem remains. I tried a few variations with different groups of people, different names for the Focus Groups I'm using, different gedcom names, etc. and I'm getting the error only on *some* of the gedcoms. I can get gedcoms from other groups of people in a different focus group without the error, and yet get the error on, say, the next one with another group of people. They're all from the same geographic & time period, so they could share, perhaps, a source or person in common. It seems to stem from one person or perhaps one source in the focus group... could that be possible? I've run VFI, and all the maintenance routines. Frustrated. 3. Bobbie - As John suggested, more programs are now importing TMG files directly. That may be a better option for you since some data is lost in the TMG GEDCOM export. Terry has some excellent suggestions for sharing data, including his use of the Journal report instead of GEDCOMs. You may find his tips helpful: http://tmg.reigelridge.com/sharing.htm Virginia On Sun, Nov 1, 2015 at 11:27 PM, Bobbie Hall <bobbie.hall@gmail.com> wrote: > Thanks for the idea, Virginia.
