I am assuming dataset 4 was merged with 3. When finished merging the datasets you should either delete dataset 4 or deactivate it by checking the deactivate box on the merging window before you close it. When you delete or deactivate a dataset after the merge then it will not show up in the index nor be considered when checking for duplicate people. Hope that made sense.
