I had a similar situation this week. I opened TMG as I was hoping to print out ahnentafel reports that I could use with FTDNA. I ended up using the task manager as the computer hung up on me. I thought I would be able to do this easily, but I am not sure if the problem is within my computer setup or what. Perhaps I am asking for something impossible. The influx of new ways to do research is mindboggling. Fun, but, so much to learn. If someone can point me of a way to deal with this, I would appreciate it. You may find some information on the error in the event viewer (Control Panel/Administrative tools). Then I'd try a "repair" installation of TMG. If the problem still persists - unlikely in my opinion - you could consider using system restore (Control Panel/Recovery) to set the machine back to its most recent working state.
