There is always a question as to how to enter the name of someone such as this. The usual idea is to enter the name that the person used most. Except that women would use their maiden name. In the case of medical professionals, the title is often their most used name. But, as you say that looks very funny to see a small child listed in a census record as a doctor. >Is there a way to add the title only after her receives his >doctorate but not before? Sure, just add a Name-Var Tag, say using a Date of when he began his practice or when he was awarded his doctorate. Then for all Tags before that date, select the non-Title name and choose the title name for all Tags after the date. Lee
