Bruce, The results are not random. As Linda says, the spouse that appears in the Children and Siblings windows is the "last viewed spouse." But this term has a very specific meaning. It means the last spouse in the Family or Tree views. To change which spouse it is, make the person with multiple spouses the focus of either the Family or Tree view in the Details window. Then click the Next button at the lower left corner of that window until the desired spouse is displayed. When you return to your regular view that spouse will appear in the Children or Sibling window. If you are wondering, no, I don't know how it gets set initially if you haven't used the Tree or Family view. I'd guess it has to do with the order in which the spouses were added to the Project. I get the correct spouse to show in the Children window simply by opening the correct marriage tag for the focus person with the incorrect spouse showing. I don't have to switch to the Family or Tree view. The last marriage tag opened from the Detail view is the spouse that shows in the children window. I'm assuming it will work the same in the siblings window--see new issue below! This has made me aware of a problem/issue I didn't know I had!!! I've discovered that my siblings window does not show all the columns it is supposed to according to the description of the siblings window in HELP. I didn't know it was suppose to show the same columns as the children window! My siblings window only shows 3 columns---birth, death and name. There is no arrow indicating descendants, no column for sex and no column for spouse. I've always wished it show the same things as the children window, but it doesn't. I've expanded the siblings window across my 27" screen and still cannot see any other columns. So, how do I get those columns (sex, descendants and spouse)? I've never customized the Children or Siblings windows. Kaye On Sat, Jul 4, 2015 at 7:13 AM, Terry Reigel via <tmg@rootsweb.com> wrote: > On 7/4/2015 1:08 AM, Linda M. Kaye - I have not found any way yet to change the visible fields in the sibling window either. It just always has had the full set of info like the child window for me and I have found no place to add or delete columns. OTOH, thanks to your input, with Terry and Linda chipping in, we can now get the desired spouse to appear in the sibling window. So easy when you know how! Thanks to all.
