Hmmm... I cannot reproduce this behavior. What does your Footnote template look like? I have tried using a template like: Other stuff<, [CD1]><, [CD2]><, [CD3]><, [CD4]><, [CD5]><, [CD6]>. This outputs the later CD parts whether an earlier one has a space or is completely empty. What are you doing differently? What version of TMG? Michael
