Robin, I also use Photoshop Elements for the same reason. But, unfortunately the latest version 13 does not support Twain. I had to go back to version 11 (I don't know about 12). They usually release a version every Oct. I don't know if the next version will support twain or not. I hate planned obsolescence... upgrading for good new features is great but losing useful functions is annoying!
