Just over a year ago Bob made his announcement that the best family history software was to be discontinued. Unfortunately I missed the anniversary last month of his announcement but I remember that he cited ill-health as one of his reasons for the decision. It would be intrusive of me to ask how his health is progressing but I would like to say how much I hope that in the course of the last year it has since improved. From the comments I read on the TMG-REFUGEES list it appears that it will be a long time before any other software will reach TMG's level of versatility. Bob's creation always led the field. Best wishes, Bob, and thanks for your quarter of a century's contribution to our passion. -- Tom
Thanks, Tom, for the salute to Bob Velke, whose health I am sure we all toast and hope has improved in the past year!
