John I use gmail and just did a test. I tried to send a zip file as an attachment to another account and got an error message from System Administrator "Undeliverable:zip". However I took the same file and renamed from file.zip to file.txt. I sent that as an attachment without problems, saved the attachment from the incoming message, renamed it back to file.zip and it automatically opened in Windows File Explorer.
