    3. John, Thank you for your input. I finally compared the File Name on the Individual Narrative that I was able to create and found that the 4-generation DIN file name was different. After changing the file name from C:\Documents and Settings\Glenda\My Documents. .. . to C:\Users\Glenda\Documents. . . . the report was created, opened in Word Perfect, and I was able to print it. This was the first time I’ve tried to create a report in v. 9.05, so it looks like the default path didn’t change for some reason upon installation. (I forgot to mention that I use Windows 7.) I don't know if you have been successful with a DIN report going to WP in the past, or if you're just trying it now for the first time. I also have a 64 bit system, with TMG 9.05; I also have WP X5. I just generated a 4-generation DIN with WordPerfect chosen as the report file format and it came through without difficulty. If you were concerned with details of the layout in the report I wouldn't have answered at all, since I hardly ever use word processor reports so have little experience in that area. I just wanted to reassure you that "in principle" it ought to work! I’ve tried creating with 3 and 2 generations, but the only report that can be created is an Individual Narrative. I have done validate file integrity, reindex, and optimize. I have a 64-bit HP computer and using TMG 9.05. Would appreciate any help, please. > > Thanks, Glenda

Glenda, That sounds like the result of installing TMG on a new computer and transferring your Project files. None of the default paths are automatically updated when you move your data from one version of TMG to another, or from one computer to another. I recommend you check all the paths specified in your various project files to see if they are valid and sending data where you intend. Details are in my "Moving" article, at http://tmg.reigelridge.com/new-computer-version.htm#paths Terry Reigel
