Kay, if I'm reading your original message correctly, you're having the words, "Principal" and "Witness" appear in your IDRs, where you think names should appear. Can you be more specific about where those words are appearing, and what you're doing (what exact steps you're taking) to get to that point? I've created (in v9.05 on Win7) one IDR for a person who has only tags for birth, marriage, and 8 children; it's coming out as one would expect. (Screen Preview and Word document look the same.) Meanwhile, you might try resetting the report to the defaults. Lindsay, Lee, Virginia & Rick, Thank you all for the responses. I took notes of all my tab settings, reset to default, changed them one by one and found the culprit. Misc Tab/ Roles was checked. Thinking better early morning here in OZ.
