The suggestion above will work. However, it is possible that the recipient may try to open the file before reading the message instructions. Opening a ZIP file in a text editor in itself is probably not going to cause harm to the file if the file is immediately closed without any changes being made. But even and inadvertent key-press can damage the file and make it unreadable by the compression program. The idea is still sound, but instead, I would suggest changing the File Type to something different like ABC or XYZ. This would likely to cause the recipient's computer to display a message that it does not know how to open the file making the recipient go back to the message and reading the instructions.
