Always be careful when downloading programs from sites other than the website of the creator. Others have given you irfanview's official site. You should download it from there. Irfanview has a plugin which allows you to create pdf files from jpgs too. And am sure you've heard this before, but never, ever ever do a 'standard' or quick installation after downloading a program. Rather, it provides links to half a dozen or more download sites, several of which have triggered warning when trying to download. I did finally download without a warning from the CNET site.
