    3. Michael, Let me add my thanks for providing the filter on List of Events which generates a list of these non-symmetric marriage events. I found quite a number of such events in my own file and it has been instructive, at least in a few cases, to have my attention brought to those marriages. I also wanted to mention that my usual procedure for adding a spouse to an individual who is already in my database is to do an "Add wife", or "Add husband", as appropriate. I have left the (default, I think) TMG prompt for a marriage tag, so after entering the new spouse's individual details the marriage tag screen comes up. I don't know off hand why I have a considerable number of asymmetric marriage tags, but I did start with TMG 5 (or maybe 4?) so there's been lots of scope for strange things to happen!
