Fastest way is much easier than focus groups. Print a journal report and set the number of generations to something larger than was actual (I always use 20 generations). The initial ancestor is number 1 and all further descendants are sequentially numbered up from there. Simply subtract the highest number from the end of each generation from the highest number at the end of the next generation and the difference is the number of descendants in that generation (start person is #1, then children, then grandchildren, then great-grandchildren, etc.). (I guess I’m looking for the number of descendants in each generation from the focus person) I don’t need a list of names, just a headcount. Thanks Robin
That worked! Thanks so much for such a simple solution. Robin in Short Pump > On Oct 13, 2015, at 12:58 AM, David Ball <dgballtmg@shaw.ca> wrote: > > Fastest way is much easier than focus groups.
