    3. Jim Savage wondered: > Is there available software that will allow me to run my > 1995 16 bit Visual Roots on my 32 bit XP machine > along with all my regular XP stuff? Yes, Jim, the available software is XP itself <grin>. First see if the program will just naturally run on your XP. Some 16-bit programs will. If not, then RIGHT-click on the Visual Roots program file and select the Properties menu item. In the pop-up Properties window select the Tab "Compatibility". Turn on the "Compatibility mode" check box, and select an earlier Windows operating system that you think will run Visual Roots. Apply that setting to this program, and now try to run it. If the OS you chose does not work, try another in the list. One of them should work for a 16-bit program. Hope this gives you ideas, Michael

    3. Wow, does this mean I would be able to use my ancient but great fun game You Don't Know Jack if I installed it on my XP machine? I seldom play computer games, but for years have lamented that I could no longer play that one! On Wed, Oct 14, 2015 at 9:28 PM, Michael J.
