    3. I had this same problem and tried many ways to get a valid export. Finally I did it in Safe Mode and it worked great. That is, no backups were being made to the cloud. You should not have any backup being made of your TMG folders while TMG is running. This especially includes Exporting, Importing, Backups, and Restores. Those files should always be on the local computer -- either downloaded to the computer before operations or copied after operations to folders that are backed up to the cloud. It is best to always select the TMG folders to not be part of you cloud backup. Lee

This Odds are good that any "local" automatic backup (software that is commonly included with external Firewire/USB hard-drives, and might have been installed) was also disabled in safe mode. In short, ANY backup scheme that monitors the system for file changes should not be running if it is looking at any directory containing TMG data. I've never used such automatic back-up -- my external drives were purchased to provide additional storage (only one is used for back-ups, and that one is under control of a scheduled backup system that runs around midnight each week-end, doing one data partition each week. (The rollover scheme appears to go by 6-months, not 6-backups -- and the drive is too small to hold 24 differential backups per partition; 640GB free out 4TB) -- bieber.genealogy@earthlink.net Dennis Lee Bieber HTTP://home.earthlink.net/~bieber.genealogy/
