First, check your TMG Preferences // Program Options // Warnings Perhaps you have "turned off" some of the warnings you have been expecting. Second, since you have verified that sound is not muted, check the Windows "Sound" settings for its "Default Beep". (Where you do that depends upon your version of Windows.) That is the Windows sound which TMG uses for warnings like you have mentioned. Perhaps you have disabled that specific sound in Windows?
