Bobbie - Try this with that layout open: On the top menu in TMG - Click on: View Layouts Manage layouts Select (Highlight) the existing layout in the Select layout window Click on Overwrite Virginia

Virginia: I figured it out, partly because of your last suggestion. I never realized that with TMG 9, there was an option from the right-click menu to "show columns> age/sources/sureties/tasks" etc.!! I had been trying to "hide" several columns by making them ultra-narrow, like we used to do. Once I unchecked the "offending" columns, and saved the layout, they're gone. Problem solved. Thank you *so* much for your patience & perseverance!!
