The funny thing is that in the dialog box is: "The Master Genealogist v4.x or earlier (* .SQZ)". Why v4 ??? Kurt, It says TMG 4 or earlier because you only *Import *data from versions of TMG before 5. For 5 and later you *Restore *the old backup. TMG 4 and earlier were totally different programs, with very different file formats. TMG 5 and later are versions of the new program. Terry Reigel
Aaargh, Terry. As I said: I have allowed myself to be a little inpatient and to fool around and hour or two. Now I have *restored* an old project and at a quick look everything looks fine. Now I must try to get an overview of what has changed since v.6/7. Thanks to all who has responded to this thread. -- Kind regards Kurt Hansen > Den 23. dec. 2017 kl. 17.55 skrev Terry Reigel <[email protected]>: > > On 12/23/2017 11:50 AM, Kurt Hansen - Danacord wrote: >> Now I have installed TMG9.
