Recently I have started getting error messages concerning "loadmode" It started by inserting "\loadmode|\" into my backup path, with the error message that the path does not exist. Today upon startup, I got a lengthy error message to the effect that exhibit path "loadmode" did not exist, asking if I wanted to use the default. Response no, TMG loaded and I updated path in Preferences. This has occurred in both of my projects. Have run all Maintenance options a number of times after each occurrence of the error. My question(s)-- What's happening? How do I prevent this recurring? Would a reinstall be advisable? Reinstall should always be the last resort -- especially if one does not understand what is happening. My first suggestion would be to run a deep virus scan, as from your short description one could get the impression that something is trying to hijack file paths. I'm not finding much on Google -- just some mention of a javascript module... http://www.fixfilesystems.com/esny/2s5y2s0t8e0m/loadmode.js.html http://www.fixexehub.com/ehnu/1h7u1b3e7x8e/loadmode.min.js.html https://www.windowstoclean.com/lprocess/326259_loadmode-js-errors-how-to-fix-it.html No details, with a report date of today -- no mention of corrupting file paths themselves -- so may be a wild goose, but... I do find a loadmode.js apparently as part of something called CodeMirror https://github.com/codemirror/CodeMirror -- [email protected] Dennis Lee Bieber HTTP://home.earthlink.net/~bieber.genealogy/
