I assign the duplicate persons as the two Principals primarily until I have time to research the possibility that the two are indeed the same person.. I Double Exclude the Tag Sentence so that it never prints in any reports. The Tag makes it easy to go back and forth from the one to the other, and as a way to find the duplicates outside the Check for Duplicate Persons function by using the List of Events report filtering for the Tag Label. Having the Tag with no date makes the Tag appear at the top of the Tag Box and reminds me of the possibility that the two are the same person or that there is a close resemblance between the two if they are not the same.
