Further: On doing a file search, I find: C:\Users\Robert\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\The Master Genealogist v9\LoadMode\ LoadMode folder created 12/17/17 when I first started noticing this. And that folder is empty. And this is the only instance of LoadMode I have found. It may be that a glitch in TMG loading/startup created this folder for some reason, perhaps as an error mechanism. It does not appear (at this time) to be malignant. I'll just keep any eye on things for now. Thanks to Dennis and Richard for input.
