I have a language file on an external drive as backup: cFRENCH2.dbf. I would like to update the backup file. However when I try to export it I get the following error message: "Cannot perform selected operation. Exclusive access to this language database is required." I tried under regular "open" program or under "Run as Administrator" but neither work. How do I export this file or save it? Ok...problem solved. I deleted all files in the export folder and my Export for the language file worked. Why only after deleting all files in the export folder, I don't know, but all is fine now. That's odd. My first thought was that there might be a conflict with an existing file and/or something in the Windows file handling wasn't working right. But, TMG automatically assigns a dissimilar name (adds a "1" to the filename) if a same filename is already there. Also, Windows properly reports the Read Only situation. Lee
