Erik, If your definition of being related to includes anyone to whom there is a connection by birth or marriage, then I think you are talking about what I call "connected." You can't get that with a simple filter, but my article at http://tmg.reigelridge.com/connected.htm tells you how to set a flag to find those that are not "connected" to the main body of people in your Project.
