    3. I have done an additional thorough search and found a folder with various TMG data. I have a tmg7setup.exe, which is dated January 3, 2010 + tmgu7000.exe with date February 11, 2008. My latest copy of data files is Kurt 29072006-1527 from 10th of August 2008. > Den 23. dec. 2017 kl. 09.37 skrev Kurt Hansen - Danacord <[email protected]>: > > As far as I remember it was TMG 7 Gold. Kurt, it looks like you last used TMG 7 as you thought. In that case, you can simply Open the Project with TMG 9. It will offer to make a backup of your data and then update the data to the TMG9 formatĀ  . Allow it to do both, so you have a backup in the old format just in case. It should then work fine. 3. Kurt, If the project was written by TMG v7, you can open it with TMG v9. When you do, TMG v9 will warn you that the project was written by an earlier version and will ask you to confirm that you want to open it and update it to the current version. The only way I know to determine the version of a project is to look in its ".PJC" file. If the project was written by TMG v7, it will have a "PjcVersion" of 8. In the PJC file that will look something like this: [Stamp] ... PjcVersion=8 ... Given the other evidence (the exe files you have), it's likely that the project was written by TMG v7, and you can skip inspecting the .PJC file. Here's what I would do if you have the TMG project data files in a folder, i.e., not in a .SQZ backup file: 1 - Copy the folder that contains the TMG project data files to the "Projects" folder under TMG v9 in your Documents folder. If you do not copy the files, when TMG updates the project, it will update it in its current location. Often, that location will be named with something that indicates it was written by prior version. I think that's confusing; you don't want a TMG v9 project stored in a TMG v7 Projects folder. 2 - Open the copy from #1 in TMG v9. TMG v9 will prompt you as described earlier. Allow TMG to make a backup in case something goes wrong. If you have a .SQZ file that you think was written by TMG v7, I think you can use the File > Restore command in TMG to convert it to TMG v9. I forget those steps. If you have any difficulty, reply here and I'll investigate. John
