Virginia, Using the Place Index in Second Site to list people buried in cemeteries is a reasonable thing to do. Constance has shown another way, and her method provides more control of the content and format. However, it does take some initial work to set it up. Once you have done that, however, it's not a lot of extra work to record a burial; just add the cemetery person to the tag. Constance uses P2 for the cemetery person. I probably would have used a witness, but that's a minor quibble. GedSite will probably get a "List of Places" User Item before it gets a "Place Index" User Item. The List of Places will be similar to the List of People in that it will allow you to select which places to include, and to designate what you want to appear for each place.
