All, The location variables [L4], [LCN] and [COUNTY] all provide whatever's in the [L4] variable (that might not be a "county," depending on whatever place style has been used. Is there any advantage to using one or the other of these variables? In other words "John lived in [L3]." vs "John lived in [LCI]." or "John lived in [CITY]." This all came up after I messed with some place styles and replaced the "County" label with "Parish". I realized that the variables [LCI] or [COUNTY] were a little confusing if what was in [L4] was actually a Parish. Would anyone like to share their own practices? Thanks, Brian
