I just ran a quick test and noticed that, while the Report Destination was Printer (properties set to M$ PDF), there is a stage in the file generation where it appears to invoke the "Save To:" file type handler (the first time I ran I saw it invoke HTML, when I changed Save To to RTF and went back to Printer, and ran again, the generation said RTF). The file name field for mine is just "*.RTF" (or "*.HTML" as appropriate) -- no directory information. >-- >Jack D. Dennis, The Save to file type is RTF. The file name is the path specified in preferences. The printer selected is MS PDF. Report Destination is Printer. The report is sent to C:\ProgarmData\The Master Genealogist v9\Buttons. If I change the report destination to save the file, it generates the report and puts it where I expect it to go, as specified by Save to.
